Crawford Public Schools

Alan Hamar is a 1987 graduate of Crawford Public Schools who lives with his wife Jerri in Amarillo, Texas. Alan was a three-time individual state champion in wrestling (1985, 1986, & 1987). He was also a member of the Crawford Wrestling Team that won the 1986 Team Title. Alan is a member of the Nebraska Wrestling Coaches Hall of Fame and on a recent trip to Dawes County, he and his wife stopped by the school to donate his HOF Plaque to display in our trophy case. Moni Hourt also printed some pictures from the paper to also display with the plaque. Alan is on the left in the picture and is holding his HOF Plaque, Superintendent, Mo Hanks, is on the left holding the two pictures that will be displayed with the plaque. Both Alan and Jerri were very impressed with our facilities and the improvements that have been made over the years.
